My Holistic Counseling And Coaching Practice
Life has its ups and downs, and in the midst of those fluctuations, there often aren’t “right” or “wrong” answers. There are times when we all truly need help and support to navigate difficult challenges and choices. With the right guidance, it’s possible to process difficult feelings, become curious about the unknown and experience profound transformation.
My practice blends traditional therapy with Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Mindfulness Meditation, coaching, energy psychology and energy medicine and more to help you find sustainable solutions that improve your life. I’ve been helping people heal for over three decades, and I’m confident that I can help you, too.
Even though I have a rich background in helping clients improve overall functioning, first and foremost, my priority is becoming an expert in your needs, interests and goals. Whether you need coaching, psychotherapy or natural medicines, I believe in exploring whatever means necessary for profound healing and growth.
If you have additional questions about my practice, please see the FAQ below or contact me at (425) 681-1170 for a free consultation.
FAQ
How do we get started?
After we’ve spoken on the phone, and have determined that my therapy or coaching services are a good fit for you, we meet for an hour long session. Generally, I can get clients in within a week of our initial call.
During our first appointment, we’ll get really clear about your wants and needs. We’ll discuss how long you want to spend working together. I’ll gather information about your goals and what kinds of changes you’re ready to make in your life. We’ll also examine what has been working so you can utilize your strengths. By creating structure in the beginning, we can set you up to reach your goals as quickly as possible.
How long does holistic counseling or coaching take?
In general, I like to meet weekly for six-eight weeks. After that, we can reevaluate the frequency of our meetings. However, if that doesn’t work for you, therapy and coaching will always move at your preferred pace.
How long are sessions?
We meet for one hour once per week.
For clients who want longer sessions, that is an option, too.
What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?
If you’re struggling right now, but you don’t have a diagnosable mental health condition (for example, anxiety, depression or trauma), life coaching can help. During life, relationship, or leadership coaching sessions, we can look at your current life and collaboratively strategize and work toward achieving your goals. To learn more about the differences between psychotherapy and life coaching, please visit my Life Coaching page.
What is Spring Forest Qigong, energy psychology and energy medicine?
If you’ve found that talk therapy is not enough, you’re in luck. I am an expert in the field of energy psychology and energy medicine, which is a methodology that moves beyond talk therapy. Energy psychology (EP) is a mind-body approach to understanding and improving human functioning. To learn more about the profound healing effects of EP, please visit my Energy Psychology page.
